I will be in attendance and there will be some sort of official function where you can listen to words come out of my face, and I can listen to words come out of your face too. Then we can eat the best BBQ in the desert at Pappy & Harriets. Now doesn’t that sound wonderful?

While the crisis is global and worldwide coordination is essential, our response, in order to be truly successful, must be implemented at the local level. This panel brings together Professor John Fernández, artist Jeff Frost, Mayor of Jersey City Steven Fulop, atmospheric scientist Katharine Hayhoe, engineer B.H. Bronson Johnson, and Mayor of Miami Francis Suarez to discuss how working together, at the local level, can help to plan for and address key issues such as education of skeptical populations, resiliency measures, and response planning.
